Typical Lunch
After an intense morning full of new experiences, it’s time to enjoy the Andalusian specialties.
In a “mesón”, a typical Andalusian restaurant, you will be able to choose between many different options; all of them are delicious!
Starters:
Ensalada con aceitunas, queso de cabra y almendras de la tierra. Salad with olives, almonds, goat cheese.
Guiso: Depending on the day there are different kinds of stews with vegetables. Here you see Potaje de Vigilia: a Lent specialty with potatoes, white beans and cod fish.
Salmorejo: cold thick tomato soup, with cucumbers, peppers, garlic and olive oil. On top boiled egg and serrano ham.
Main dishes:
Lubina a la Plancha: Grilled or fried fresh fish with salad or baked potatoes, aioli sauce and tomatoes. Depending on the day you can choose between many choices: sardines, anchovies, hake, dorade, sea bass, calamari, mackerel, etc.
Confit de Pato y patatas asadas: Duck confit with jacket potatoes and tomatoes.
Escalopines empanados con salsa de champiñones: scallops of pork in mushroom sauce.
Desserts (home-made):
Tarta de mora. Blackberry cake.
Natillas: This specialty from Cataluña is something in between an egg custard and a creme caramel.
Frutas de estación: Seasons fruit.
Pudin: Pudding
A drink (wine, beer, water, soft drink…) per person is also included.
For people having a special diet, vegetarians or others, it is possible to order a menu that adapts to their diet.
